Hiring a highly skilled wedding photographer who was not going to resort to the “typical” bridal photo shoot poses was very important to us, as my husband is not very comfortable in front of the camera. One look at Julia Park’s website and I knew her unique, fresh, elegant, and thoughtful photographic style was a good match for us.
However, when I met Julia I knew she was our photographer! She takes the time to get to know the couple. Not just their wedding style/theme, but she genuinely wants to know about how you met, what you enjoy doing in your spare time and works the unique aspects of your relationship into your photography sessions. I am happy to say that our engagement and wedding pictures represent us!
Working with Julia is like working with a long-time friend, she is dedicated to making your time with her meaningful, personalized and as non-intrusive as possible. She was amazing at setting up my husband and my first look, she even captured an impromptu first look with my father - which I will cherish to this day. Julia was amazing at pulling together large groups of family for pictures, and overall just understood my husband and my vision for our wedding (March 2014). To this day, I still get butterfly’s and tear up at some of the amazing shots that Julia captured.
We cannot thank Julia and her wonderful husband Anton enough for sharing in our wedding journey! You will have no regrets hiring Julia Park Photography, and I would recommend her business to anyone I know. We can’t thank you enough Julia!

Picking the right photographer was incredibly to us and we could not be happier with our choice. We both hate hate hate the typical, posed, cheesy photos that are unfortunately way too common in wedding photography. We knew from her website, that Julia would give us the opposite of these things. Julia and Anton were so great.
Such easy-going, friendly people but so professional. The shots were beautiful, candid, and genuine. We also received our images so quickly! So many of them too! My favourite was our golden-hour pictures.
Julia was amazing at directing us (which is important because I definitely wouldn't call myself a natural in front of the camera) but she never actually posed us. It all just felt really natural and comfortable. I look through them all the time and can't wait to show my kids one day.
Would recommend these guys in a heartbeat.

I just wanted to write to say what absolutely beautiful pictures you took of my daughter’s wedding.
I’m sitting here watching the video you sent and it makes me cry every time I watch it.
You are a true artist. The song you chose was perfect – so touching. I can’t say enough great things about you and your husband. You took beautiful pictures while at the same time you were so unobtrusive the whole day of the wedding.
Most of the time I didn’t even realize you were there. Yet, somehow you managed to capture the day exquisitely. I can’t compliment you enough or more importantly thank you enough for capturing the day and letting us relive it over and over again. I am in your debt.

Julia has such a talent and great eye for taking photos. She didn't just take pictures but captured all the wonderful moments, emotions and memories at our wedding.
She did a stunning job on our engagement photos as well, we couldn't be happier! Her and her husband Anton were such a pleasure to work with and were very patient and attentive to all the fine details.
They were always professional and really knew what they were doing. What also amazed us as well was her quick turnaround time with the photos. This just shows her dedication to her work and commitment to her clients.
I wish we could keep her as our secret so we can make sure she's available for our future family photo shoots, but great talent will always be discovered! Thank you again Julia for the wonderful job you did and we hope to work with you again!
