Lily and Jacob are the kind of people you instantly fall in love with. They are both kind, have a great sense of humour and care a great deal about the people around them.
I met them on a cold November evening for a dinner at Spring Rolls. We spent hours chatting and it was during that time, that they shared their excitement about having Malaparte restaurant at the Tiff Bell Lightbox as their venue. Lily shared how she fell in love with this place right away after checking it out and couldn’t imagine her wedding anywhere else.
Fast forward to their wedding day (and my fist time at Malaparte) I walk in and I get it! It is so so so them! It’s a very modern, yet classy and elegant. It’s stylish and simple; sophisticated and welcoming! Just like them 😉
And it’s downtown Toronto!
ily and Jacob both live and work downtown so their wedding, so i can’t imagine a better venue for them.
Please enjoy the photos from this Malaparte Toronto wedding
Lily got ready at the Hyatt Regency and that’s where they had their door games and an intimate tea cereony.
Girls prepared cute tasks for the guys, including making Jacob to write what he loves about his bride. Here is lily listing to it by the door.
Lily was really emotional on her wedding day, and I think that’s the way to go!
After the tea ceremony Lily changed into her white gown and we headted to Osgoode Hall for their “first look”
Lily is so amazinglgly gifted with craft, and I was in awe of all the DIY elements she created for her day
