Booking your phone call with me is the first step! It's about 15 minutes long where we chat about your hopes and dreams for the session and I walk you though our process and rates.
The session
Most of our clients choose to start their session day with hair and makeup right here at the studio. Once you are ready you are welcome to spend some time trying on and planning outfits your are going to wear from our studio wardrobe!
Ordering appointment
A few days after the session we meet again over zoom from the comfort of your home and go over the images. You choose your favorites and your package and voice any particular retouching requests you have!
90% of our clients end up ordering a package with an album or album + wall art
I design everything and send over to your approval! Once approved everything get printed and put together but our awesome lab and framer and delivered to your doorstep!

Albums and folio boxes
We recommend booking as soon as possible—we can always reschedule based on the adjusted due date or early/late arrival. But I do limit the number of sessions per month, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
When should I book my session?
Besides all the diaper bag necessities (diapers, pacifier, etc.), you are welcome to bring a simple onesie for some natural shots, a hat, or a headband or two if it’s a baby girl.
If there is a special sentimental item you’d like to have a photo of, such as your own little teddy bear or a blanket passed down by your grandparents, you can bring it as well.
Do I need to bring anything for the baby to my newborn session?
Absolutely! Pets are part of the family and totally encouraged at all sessions.
Depending on your dog’s behaviour, please bring a person to watch the dog or take it home after its shots.
Can I bring my dog to the newborn session?
We usually aim for at about 10 to 14 days after the birth to allow mom to heal and the baby to adapt to the world a bit.
When is the best time to schedule a newborn session?
I totally get that. You just delivered a baby! So, yes, we can, but we try to talk every mom into taking at least some photos.
Mother-and-baby shots are my signature shots, and we’d be sad for you to miss out on those. We strongly suggest all new moms take advantage of a professional hair and makeup appointment at our studio for a stress-free morning. A little pampering can go a long way for a tired, sleep-deprived, mom. Also, our studio wardrobe was created with postpartum mamas in mind, so they will comfortable in flattering pieces.

Can you just photograph the baby? I don’t feel like myself at the moment.
A newborn session with parents and siblings can last up to three hours, depending on how settled the baby is, how many feeding breaks we need to take, etc. We never rush those sessions.

It’s very typical for moms to buy more cute clothes than their babies will never get to wear (they grow tooooo fast) or too many toys and other gadgets they won’t need.
